Self-Guided Walks from the Leeds-Morecambe Line
Lancashire is a county of contrasts. The section of the Leeds-Morecambe Line that runs through north Lancashire, also known as the Bentham line, is a great way to explore the countryside between the Dales and the sea. Morecambe Bay offers dramatic views to the Lakeland fells and wonderful sunsets over the sea. Historic towns and cities such as Lancaster make a great destination for a day of shopping and culture.
A series of self-guided walks are available to download here. If you complete the whole series, you will have walked the length of the Bentham line and
discovered many hidden gems along the way.
Guided walks are also available along the Bentham line. You can find out more about those by clicking here.
