As a result of the continuing impact of COVID-19, Northern Trains are continuing to operate a reduced timetable service in support of the national effort to delay the spread of Coronavirus.
Government advice is that anyone in England can use public transport and that you should consider all forms of transport when planning a journey.
If you do choose to travel by train, please travel safe. You must wear a face covering on board the train (unless a medical condition or disability prevents you), try to avoid busy periods varying your usual travel times to prevent crowding and check the times of your journey before you travel.
Temporary travel timetables are in operation across the whole Northern Trains rail network including the Leeds – Settle – Carlisle, Leeds – Bentham – Lancaster/Morecambe rail.
