Your journey can start and end at any of the stations between Carlisle and Leeds (or further afield). The diesel sprinter train service operates daily (except Christmas Day & Boxing Day).

Our Group Travel team may be able to arrange discounts off the usual fares for the line. Discounted rates are available to groups of 10 or more fare-paying passengers.

Our Refreshment Trolley service is available on select timetabled Northern services. The trolley stocks a wide range of hot and cold drinks including filter coffee, tea, hot chocolate, latté, water, and fruit juices along with a selection of confectionery, crisps and much more. We also stock a range of merchandise for passengers to purchase and mark their special day out with.

The Friends of the Settle-Carlisle Line (FoSCL) can provide an on-train guide to either provide a running commentary or, point out places of interest and answer your questions.
The guides have a wealth of knowledge about the rail lines history and architecture and can offer a unique insight into the local towns and villages that stem from the railway.
