Litfest is a volunteer board-run organisation that develops writers, engages readers and audiences, and celebrates literary excellence. This is done through the annual literature festival which has been staged since 1978 and a range of other events and projects that have positioned the organisation at the heart of Lancashire’s cultural and creative activity.
